Privacy Policy
How Muse Studio handles your account, product photos, AI creations and purchases.
Last updated 27 October 2026
About this policy
Muse Studio is operated by BOSC Tech Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Muse Studio app, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Contact info@bosctechlabs.com with privacy questions.
Information we collect
- Account: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
- Your content: photos you choose or capture and upload, product names, descriptions and categories, brand logos and colors, photo settings, generated images, saved edits and feedback you send.
- Photo balance and purchases: your photo balance and how it changes, and the purchase details described in "In-app purchases and subscriptions".
- Device and app: app version, platform, notification token and notification permission, and session records.
- Usage and diagnostics: in-app activity and crash reports, described in "Analytics, crash reports and notifications".
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in and keep your account secure, store your photos and creations, generate and edit images, add and use photos in your balance, provide the plan you bought, send the notifications described below, answer support requests, prevent fraud and misuse, meet tax, accounting and legal obligations, and understand how the app is used so we can improve it. Authorized staff can access account, purchase and generation records to operate and support the service.
In-app purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold and charged by Google Play or the Apple App Store. They process your payment; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details.
To give you the photos you paid for, we receive purchase information from the store through RevenueCat, Inc., which manages subscriptions for us: the product and plan, store transaction and order identifiers, purchase, renewal and expiry dates, price, currency and country, and status such as free trial, cancelled, billing problem or refunded.
We share your Muse Studio account identifier, email address, name and Firebase app instance identifier with RevenueCat so a purchase is linked to the right account and can be restored. We use purchase information to add photos to your balance, show your plan, handle plan changes, refunds and restores, prevent a purchase being used twice, and keep financial records.
Analytics, crash reports and notifications
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics for Firebase to record app events, such as screens viewed, steps in the photo flow, purchases (plan, price, currency and transaction identifier) and errors, linked to your account identifier. We do not collect your device's advertising ID and do not use this data for advertising.
- Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash details, device model, operating system and app version so we can fix problems.
- Notifications: we send billing alerts (for example renewals, payment problems and photos added to your balance) and service announcements through Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Apple Push Notification service, using your device's notification token. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Password reset emails
When you ask to reset your password, your email address is sent to Google Firebase Authentication, which sends the reset email for us. Firebase keeps a record of your email address for this purpose until you delete your account. Reset links expire and can be used once. We never send your password by email.
Service usage information
We also record source photo uploads, editing tools opened and applied, saved edits, and downloads, shares and failures in our own service. These records contain an event identifier, your account identifier, a tool choice when relevant, references to your uploaded or saved photos, and a time. They do not contain photo content, descriptions or prompts.
Photos, camera and device storage
Camera access is requested only when you choose Take a photo, and photo-library access is handled by your phone's photo picker. You can choose an existing photo instead, or turn camera access off in your device settings. Selected or captured photos are uploaded when you add them. Download saves a copy to your phone's gallery. Sign-in credentials are stored in the device's secure storage; preferences, drafts and the tour state are stored on the device, and images may be cached there.
AI providers and other service providers
When you create or edit an image, the AI provider in use, OpenAI or Google Gemini, receives the images, references and instructions needed for that request. Provider processing and retention follow their service terms. We also use Google Firebase (analytics, crash reports, notifications and password-reset email), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Play and the Apple App Store (payments) and our hosting provider. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms, and may process it outside your country. Sharing or exporting an image sends it to the destination you choose.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account, uploads and creations until you delete them or your account. You can delete your account in the app under Account, then Delete account. This removes your account details, uploads, created photos, edits, products, color themes, brand kit and password-reset record, and signs you out on every device. Remaining photos in your balance are lost.
Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in Google Play or your Apple ID settings. Purchase and transaction records are kept without your name or email for as long as tax, accounting and fraud-prevention rules require, and so a purchase cannot be granted twice. Analytics and crash data are kept for the period set in our Firebase settings. To request access, correction or deletion, email info@bosctechlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
Your choices and rights
You can review and edit what you upload, download your creations, turn notifications and camera access on or off, sign out, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. To use these rights, contact us at info@bosctechlabs.com.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, secure device storage and access controls to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so avoid including sensitive personal information in photos, descriptions or instructions.
Children and other people's images
Muse Studio is for adults aged 18 or over who create product imagery. Do not upload another person's likeness or personal information without permission. The catalog's AI-generated models and child-sized display mannequins are fictional and do not make the service intended for children.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the service or our data practices change, and change the date shown above. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app. For privacy questions or requests, contact BOSC Tech Labs at info@bosctechlabs.com. Contact support in the app opens an email to this address.
